1. Copyright--is so when people try and steal someone elses work you cannot take credit for it.
2. Fair Use--how much you can use without having to ask for permission.
3. First Sale Doctrine-- allow people after they buy it to make copies and show ownership of the works
4. Intellectual Property-- is when you think about it. Our Imagination.
5. Patent--when the person actually makes the invention and can sell them.
6. Permission-- when you have to redo it into some other work
7. Phonorecords--are used with technology to save music work to store in the computers.
8. Plagiarism-- when you pass off ideas as your own.
9.Public Domain-- when you use it without getting in trouble because the protection has expired
10. Trademark-- a name or symbol to tell who its from.
